Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix together and refrigerate. If desired, add 2 T. slivered almonds and for a real treat, add a few low carb mini chocolate chips. This is similar to a cannoli filling!
2. There are many variations of this. All are excellent. You can use 1 teas. of pineapple extract with 1/2 teas. of coconut. Add about 2 T. sugar free coconut for a piña colada.
3. Lemon extract and lemon zest is another possibility.
Tips
As I think of the extracts I have in my pantry, Banana comes to mind with Chocolate chips and then there's Orange perhaps combined with the Coconut. The South Beach book also had something with lime zest. Anyway, the combinations are up to your imagination. This is a tasty treat.
