Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

To make cake, cream together shortenings and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Beat eggs into mixture, blending well. Add vanilla sift flour with soda and salt and add to mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour. Make lopping by mixing together sugars, cinnamon and pecans. Grease 9 by 13 inch shallow pan and put half the batter and sprinkle over the other half of topping. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
