- 1/2 cup grits
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 oz Boursin Garlic-Herb cheese
- 3 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 egg, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
1. Place grits in a 1 1/2 qt saucepan. Gradually stir in water and milk. Place over medium-high heat and cook stirring constantly until mixture is thick, about 3-5 minutes. Add margarine and blend thoroughly. Remove from heat and stir in cheeses until mixture is smooth and slightly cooled. Beat in egg. Pour into lightly greased 1 qt. microwave safe casserole. Microwave at 70% power for 5 minutes. Let stand additional 5 minutes before serving.
