Ingredients

• Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Cereal
• Butter (We use Salted, Sweet Cream Butter)
• Mini Marshmallows
• Wilton Color Right Food Coloring System – Yellow
• Wilton Color Right Food Coloring System – Blue
• Wilton Color Right Food Coloring System – Orange
• Wilton Color Right Food Coloring System – Black

Preparation

Step 1

The Philadelphia Eagles jerseys are Green, Black and White so you will need to make three batches of Rice Krispie Treat mixture.

First, make a 3 Cup batch of Rice Krispie Treat mixture (3 Tbsp. Butter/3 Cups Mini Marshmallows/3 Cups Cereal). Add the food coloring BEFORE you add the Rice Krispie Cereal. To create this shade of Green we used our Wilton Color Right Food coloring in the following combination:

8 Drops of Yellow
6 Drops of Blue
2 Drops of Orange

Allow the Green Rice Krispie Treat mixture to cool enough so you can handle it but that it is still malleable. To get Rice Krispie Bites that were the same sized I measured .5 oz. of the mixture on my food scale and then used by hands to roll it into a ball. If the mixture is too sticky, rub your fingers with some butter. I was able to make 16 Rice Krispie Treat Bites from this 3 cup batch of Rice Krispie Treat Mixture.

For the black Rice Krispie Treat Bites, follow the directions as listed above. We got this dark black color by using 6 drops of black Wilton Color Right Food Coloring.

For the white Rice Krispie Treat Bites, follow the directions as outline above don’t add any food coloring to the marshmallow mixture.

Allow the Philadelphia Eagles Rice Krispie Bites to cool before you store them. This is a great Game Day or Super Bowl Party treat and you can make it well ahead. Rice Krispie Treats freeze up great in an air-tight container.
