Fresh Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

• 1 quart fresh strawberries (sliced or whole)
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 4 tbsp. Cornstarch
• 4 tbsp. Strawberry jello
• Red cake coloring (2 or 4 drops) baked pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

Bake sugar, water and cornstarch until thick and changes color. Remove from heat, add coloring and jello. Mix well and return to heat until dissolve. Let cool until slightly thickened, add strawberries. Pour mixture into baked pie shell and top with your favorite dessert topping.
