  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 cup shelled raw peanuts
  • 1 Tbsp margarine or butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Step 1

Great a large cookie sheet very heavily with margarine.

In a large microwave safe casserole, combine sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Stir in peanuts. Microwave on high 100% power until light brown (8-10 minutes), stirring once or twice.

Stir in remaining ingredients. Quickly pour onto cookie sheet. Spread as thin as possible. Coo and break into pieces.
