Ingredients
- Makes 8 cups
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 3/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cabbage (3 pounds), finely shredded
- 2 large carrots, finely shredded

Step 1
1.In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, salt, celery seed, and vinegar until well combined. Slowly whisk in mayonnaise until combined.
2.Toss cabbage and carrots together in a large bowl. Add dressing and toss until vegetables are fully coated. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 1 hour before serving.
