Ingredients

  • 6 green onions, sliced
  • 6 cloves peeled garlic
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 4 tsp coriander seeds
  • 12 oz Guinness Black Lager
  • 3 lbs chicken pieces (or pork tenderloin or steak)

Step 1

In food processor or blender, pulse the first 6 ingredients until smooth. Stir in the lager and seal in a gallon-size plastic bag with the meat. Marinate, refrigerated, for at least 3 hours; turn bag occasionally. Grill, covered, on medium 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked through (165 degrees), turning once.

Note: Boil marinade 3 minutes to serve with chicken.
