Preparation

Step 1

1. put the water on to boil to cook the noodles for the package directions. I usually also sprinkle some Italian seasons in the water too. when done drain and set in cool water till ready to use. You will probably only need 12-15 noodles

2. in the blender put the 2 eggs and blend them up. Then put the cottage cheese in there and blend it till it is creamy.

3. Cook the hamburger meat, with all the spices. Brown. Drain if necessary. Add 1 and 1/2 jar of the tomato sauce. leave the other 1/2 in the jar for later.

Once all of these items are done get ready to put together.

I start with
1. a very small layer of meat
2. next layer noodles, (usually it is 4 strips)
3. next layer pour 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture, then put 1/2 of the bag of mozzarella cheese on top of that, then sprinkle a little of the parmesan cheese on top of that, (remember that is a strong cheese, so just a light layer)
4. next a layer of noodles
5. next a layer of the meat mixture, ( a nice thin layer, because what it left goes on top)
6. next a layer of noodles
7. next repeat the cheese layer
8. this is the last layer- which is the meat sauce. Carefully spoon the meat sauce on top of the cheese mixture. Then take the rest of the sauce and spoon it over the top. carefully spread the top layer with the back of the spoon, so the meat mixture covers the top.

Bake at 350 for 30 mins.
when done pull out and let it set up and cool
