Ingredients

- Cupcake Ingredients
- 2 Cups Flour
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 Cup Water
- 3/4 Cup Buttermilk
- 1/2 Cup Shortening
- 3 eggs (at least 1/2 cup)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 oz melted unsweetened chocolate,cooled
- Cream Filling ingredients
- 1/2 Cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 Cup sugar
- 2/3 Cup Crisco Shortening
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 # bag powdered sugar
- 3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted

Step 1
Cupcake instructions:
Heat oven to 350. Measure all ingredients into large mixer bowl. Blend ½ minute on low speed, scraping bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes at high speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Fill muffin tin half full and bake abot 12 to 15 minutes, or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cream Filling instructions:
Beat at high speed for 10 minutes, then add 1 tsp. water and ¼ cup powdered sugar. Beat well. Let cupcakes get cold and then fill with a pastry tip. Insert tip in top of cupcake and squeeze.
Chocolate Frosting instructions:
Mix all ingredients until well blended. If more liquid is needd, add a few derops of water at a time.
For piping, mix about 1/8 cup Crisco with a little milk and enough powdered sugar to thicken.
