  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 12 oz. cans Wink or Squirt Soda
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 garlic

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cut spareribs into single rib pieces. Place in large kettle. Reserve 1/2 cup Wink or Squirt. Pour remaining soda over ribs. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer 45 mins. Meanwhile mix together the reserved 1/2 cup soda, sugar and soy sauce, onions and pepper to taste. Thoroughly drain cooked ribs. Pour sauce over ribs and toss well. Refrigerate at least 3 hours. Brown on grill, turning and basting till brown.
