Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, slightly softened
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. beat butter on medium speed in large bowl until creamy. add flour, pecans, 1/4 cup powdered sugar,water and vanilla. beat at low speed until well mixed.
Shape dough into 1" balls. Place 1" apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes until lightly browned. Let stand 5 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to cooling rack. roll in powdered sugar while warm and again when cool.
