Ingredients
- 4 lb beef brisket
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 Tbs sugar
- 2 Tbs vinegar
- 3 onions, sliced medium thick
- 3 cloves
- 6 peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 carrot
- 2 tsp parsley

Preparation
Step 1
1. Place meat in a large deep pot. Just cover with boiling water. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer till meat is tender, about 3 hours.
Serve with Red cabbage and Potato pancakes.
