- 1 cup water
- 2 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 2 cup All-Bran
- 1 pint buttermilk
- 1 cup bran flakes cereal
- 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cream Shortening and sugar. Add eggs, cooled water and rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Store in the refrigerator. Bake in 400F oven for 20 mins. May be stored in the fridge for several weeks, and baked fresh daily.
May also be cooked in the microwave. Fill paper lined microwave safe cupcake tin 1/2 way (approx 1/4 cup) with batter. cook: 1 muffin 30-40 secs. on High. 2 muffins 45-55 secs. Rotate the muffins 1/4 turn half way through cooking time
2. muffins 1 1/4-1 3/4 mins.
3. muffins 1 3/4-2 1/4 mins.
4. Chilled batter requires additional 15-20 secs. extra time.
5. Chilled batter requires an additional 12-15 secs.
