Ingredients

  • 1 carton egg whites (500ml)
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 3 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • 8 croissants, torn into pieces
  • 1 TBSP minced chives

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan.

Whisk together egg whites, eggs, milk, ground mustard, salt and pepper. Stir in ham and cheese. Gently stir in torn croissants.

Spoon into prepared pan. Bake,uncovered for 40 - 50 minutes. Sprinkle with chives. Let stand 5 - 10 minutes before serving.

Make ahead: Place unbaked dish, covered in the refrigerator. Stor several hours or overnight. Remove from fridge while oven is preheating. Bake as directed.
