Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 14oz can diced tomatoes with basil garlic and oregano
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 box penne pasta, cooked al dente
  • 3 cups grated mozzarella cheese, divided

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan / dish.

Cook ground beef and onions until meat is cooked and onions are tender. Drain fat. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, and water. Stir and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in cooked penne pasta and 2 cups cheese. Pour into prepared pan. Top with remaining cheese.

Bake 25 - 30 minutes until cheese is melted and dish is heated through.
