Cookie, Chocolate Chip (Leapley)

Ingredients

• 1 c. white sugar
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 1 c. shortening (oleo & Crisco)
• 2 eggs
• 1 bag chocolate chips (11 oz.)
• 2 3/4 cups flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cream sugars and shortening.
2. Add eggs; beat well.
3. Mix dry ingredients and add to sugar-egg mixture.
4. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet.
5. Bake for 12 minutes in 350 degree oven.
