Ingredients
- 1 red pepper
- 1 small red onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/3 bunch fresh cilantro
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes (drained)
- 3/4 tsp cumin
- 3/4 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lime

Preparation
Step 1
1. Put one red pepper and one small red onion, cut up, in a food processor. Pulse a few times.
2. Add three garlic cloves and 1/3 bunch of fresh cilantro, minced. Give a few more pulses.
3. Add two cans of plain stewed tomatoes (14 ounces each), drained. Pulse, again, a few times.
4. Add 3/4 teaspoon each of cumin and chili powder, one teaspoon of salt, and the juice of 1/4 lemon or lime.
5. Pulse a couple of last times.
