- 2 beef tomatoes, sliced
- 4 1/2 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 12 black olives, sliced
- 8 basil leaves
- 1 T balsamic vinegar
- 1 T olive oil
- salt and pepper
- basil leaves for garnish

Step 1
Using a sharp knife, cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices. Layer the tomato, mozzarella slice, olives and basil leaves on a stack finishing with a layer of cheese. Place each stack under a preheated broiler for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is started to melt. Drizzle the vinegar and olive oil over and season with salt and pepper. Transfer to serving plates and garnish with basil leaves.
