Ingredients

  • 4 bone in chicken thighs
  • olive oil spray
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 3/4 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 1/2 TBS Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

Step 1

Preheat air fryer to 380
Brush or spray both the air fryer basket and the chicken with olive oil. Combine the salt, pepper, and onion powder and season both sides of the chicken with the mixture.
Place seasoned chicken thighs, skin side down in the AF basket. Air fry for 10 min.
While the chicken is cooking, make glaze by combining apricot preserves, mustard, thyme and soy sauce.
When the time is up on the AF, spoon half the glaze over the chicken and air fry for 2 min. (be careful the glaze does not burn) Then flip the chicken over so the skin side is facing up and air fry for 8 more minutes. Finally, spoon the rest of the glaze evenly over the chicken and air fry for a final 2 min. Again be careful glaze does not burn. Serve. :)
(you will probably need to soak your basket overnight unless you eat the sticky yummy stuff with a spoon while still warm.)
