Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
• 1/2 creamy peanut butter
• 1/2 cup butter (softened)
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 3/4 tsp baking soda
• 36 Hershey Kisses (unwrapped)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.In large bowl, beat granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, egg and vanilla extract until well blended. Stir in flour, baking powder and baking soda. Stir until dough forms.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheet, about 2-inches apart.

Bake 8-10 minutes. Immediately press 1 kiss into center of each cookie. Move to cooling rack.
