Ingredients
- 1 lb. cubed beef stew meat
- 1/2 c. barley
- 8 oz can stewed tomatoes
- 3 whole diced potatoes
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 8 oz. can cream style corn
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 pkg. frozen vegetables
- 2/3 c. chopped or sliced celery

Step 1
Simmer beef stew in water several hours. Add barley and stewed tomatoes. Simmer another 1/2 to 1 hour. Add diced potatoes. Continue cooking slowly. Add frozen vegetables and chopped celery. Add tomato sauce. Continue simmer to slowly. Add can of tomato soup. Add can of cream style corn. Cook and stir until corn is heated through. Add corn last and watch carefully. Corn will cause soup to switch. Move pot to burner with brain (low heat) when corn is added. Serve with hot water corn bread.
