Grandma's Ginger Snaps

By

Grandma loved ginger, and these cookies have a spice ginger kick, which may be an acquired taste for some, especially if there are children who are accustomed to mostly sweet cookies. This recipe may be prepared successfully with either 1 or 2 teaspoons of ground ginger, or up to 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger root instead.

Simply amazing!!!!

Great recipe. Rich buttery flavor with ginger highlight.

I just made these wonderful cookies! They remind me of my grandma's Swedish Pepparkakar (Spice Cookie). Not too spicy with 2 tsp. ginger either, it's a great recipe!

These cookies are amazing! I even added candied ginger to half. Thanks for sharing!
