Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 large onions, chopped (3 cups)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 envelopes (or cubes) beef boullion
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 2 cans (1 pound 12 oz. each) Italian tomatoes
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 package Rice-A-Roni
  • 4 cups frozen mixed vegetables (from a 2 pound bag)

Preparation

Step 1

Brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Add onions a garlic, stirring occasionally until soft. Add all remaining ingredients and cook til simmering. Cook til rice-a-roni is done and flavors blend. Serve and enjoy!
