  • 10 Eggs
  • 2 c white sugar
  • 12 T melted butter - 1 1/2 sticks
  • 3 c white corn syrup
  • 1 t salt
  • 3 t vanilla
  • 3 c chopped pecans
  • 1-2 t yellow food color

Step 1

Prepare your favorite pie crusts or buy frozen ones. Beat eggs and sugar together until well blended. Add melted butter (not hot), corn syrup, salt, vanilla, chopped pecans and food color and mix thoroughly.

Pour into unbaked pie shells and bake until filling is set. If all 3 pies are in the oven at once, bake at 350 degrees for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
