Preparation
Step 1
grease and flour a 10X4 tube pan
preheat oven to 325*
sift flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon nutmeg, cloves and allspice onto wax paper
beat the butter, sugar, honey and eggs in a large bowl with an electric mixer until they are light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
sprinkling 1/4 cup of the flour mixture, alternate with the milk to the fluffy butter mixture beating until smooth
stir in fruits and nuts
spoon into prepared pan
bake in preheated oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the top springs back when lightly touched with finger tip
cool in pan on wire rack 20 minutes
loosen around edge and tube with knife
turn our on rack
cool completely
wrap in foil or plastic
cake slices best the next day
