Churro Chex Party Mix (www.chex.com)

Ingredients

• 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup butter
• 2 Tbsp honey
• 1/3 cup granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

in a Large bowl add the Rice Chex. In a small bowl combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon, stir until well blended. In a small microwave safe bowl, combine the brown sugar, butter and honey and microwave on high for 1 minute or until melted. Stir to mix and pour over cereal. Stir gently until evenly coated. Place on microwave and microwave on high for 3-4 minutes, stirring after every minute. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mix over the cereal and gently stir until evenly coated. Pour cereal mix on parchment paper lined sheet plan and spread into an even layer and allow to cool completely. Break up party mix and store in an airtight container.
