Easy Cheddar Beer Bread
This quick bread makes a dense loaf with a small crumb. Great with chili or soups.

Ingredients
- 3 c Self Rising Flour
- 1 c Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 3 T Sugar
- 1 (12 oz) Can of Beer
- You can also add a can of diced green chilis for an extra kick**

Preparation
Step 1
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Lightly grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.
(This is a thick dough. Sometimes more beer is needed.)
- Scoop dough into loaf pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- For a softer crust brush with melted butter when complete.
