Waffles

I used a Griddler to make these waffles. I made them one day, refrigerated them, and reheated them the next day in the oven before serving. I topped with caramelized apples ( another KeyIngredient recipe on my site.).
I served with cinnamon, clove ice cream that I made.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups unbleached flour, all-purpose
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups reduced-fat milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Put ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine until well blended and smooth.
Lightly coat waffle plates with oil
Set Selector to Griddle. Set temperature to 400 degrees (These are directions for a Griddler with waffle plates.)
Pour batter into the waffle plates, close top.
Bake waffles for about 3 minutes, depending on the desired doneness.
