Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Franks Original Red Hot Pepper Sauce
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 t. salt
  • 2 t. cayenne pepper
  • 1 t. course ground pepper
  • 1 t. onion powder
  • 1/2 t. paprika
  • 1/8 t garlic powder
  • 4 chicken fillets & buns
  • Mayo, french dressing, lettuce (tomato if desired)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat 6-8 c. oil in deep fryer to 350
Combine pepper sauce & water in shallow bowl.
Combine flour, slat & other spices in shallow bowl.
Pound each fillet to 3/8" thick.
Trim if necessary to fit bun.
Coat each fillet with flour; dredge in sauce; coat with flour again.
Set aside until all chicken is coated
Fry fillets for 8 to 12 min. or until golden brown & crispy.
Grill bun.
Add toppings.
