Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 4 (14.5 ounce) cans (or equivalent) chicken broth
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can vegetable broth
- 2 cups chopped cooked chicken breast
- 1 1/2 cups dry egg noodles
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a large pot. Add onion and celery and saute until just tender, about 5 minutes. Pour in the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes before serving.
