Ingredients
- 1 24 oz package noodles
- 12 cups chicken broth
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tsp. dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 cups celery
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 2 cups shredded carrots
- 2 cups heavy cream or half/half
- 8 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 lb precooked boneless skinless chicken

Step 1
Bring chicken broth to boil with bay leaf. Add noodles. Simmer for 20 mins. Stir often. Add parsley, thyme, pepper, onions, celery, and carrots. Simmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile melt butter in skillet. Add flour. Cook 1-2 mins. Add cream to noodle mixture. Bring back to a good simmer. Add flour mixture. Cook and stir til thickened, about 2 mins. Add chicken. Discard bay leaves. Stir. Heat through and serve.
