- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 12 ounces warmed beer
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 3-1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1 large egg
- coarse salt
- 8 hot dogs

Step 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
line parchment . Set aside.
Pour beer into bowl of a stand mixer, sprinkle yeast over top, add honey and stir. Allow yeast to bloom for 5-10 minutes.
Fill a 8 quart full of water and bring to a boil to high heat. In a small bowl beat egg and 2 tablespoon water, set aside.
Roll dough with no flour. Add salt and flour to mixer. Knead for 3 minutes until dough come together in a ball.
Cut dough into 4 pieces. roll dough around hot dog' add baking soda to boiling water.
place dogs in boiling water. Boil for 30 seconds. Repeat same for all dogs. Brush egg wash and sprinkle coarse salt.
Bake for 11-13 minutes until topa are browned.
