I always helped my Mother make our Sunday Family Dinners and this recipe was one of our favorites. I was 10 when I started to make this and have made it now and again over the years since. I am now in my 50's and it most certainly is a Golden Oldie and most definately a Keeper. We used to call it Magic Cake and the first time I fixed it for my own children - they called it Magic Cake without any word from me. It is fun and very delicious.
This cake was easy to prepare and bake. It smelled wonderful baking!! It is VERY rich, needs lots of ice cream to go with it. I would make it again, but make sure to have a light/bland meal before having this dessert.
I have made this recipe several times and the family ask for it, over and over, again.
This is a "10," without a doubt. It is wonderful!Yvonne
This was so simple to prepare yet very delicious. Better than ice cream shop fudge cakes!
I made this recipe for a baby shower and it was a big hit! Michelle
Tasty, but a messy dessert!Janice

I made this for a baby shower and everyone loved it.It was a real hit.
I love you all and the great recipes you send. :) This was a major hit tonight after dinner, but it only fed 6. :) It was a 'to die for' dessert and I thank you again. This will be a once a month treat I think.
