Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 1 head lettuce, broken into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 bag spinach with stems trimmed
  • 2 large gala apples, diced
  • 1/2 lb shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 10 oz can of cashews pieces and halves
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1- 1/2 Tbsp poppy seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dressing ingredients together in blender or with a mixer. Mix very well.
Refrigerate dress for at least 2 hours or longer.
Mix just before serving salad.
