Apple Pie Moonshine

It’s always hard to find gifts at Christmas- but this Apple Pie Moonshine is a great, delicious gift you can give to friends, neighbors, and anyone 21+ who likes delicious drinks. **This isn’t actual moonshine- distilling your own liquor is illegal in the US without proper licensing. We’re just going to flavor grain alcohol to take like an apple pie, moonshine-style.**

Ingredients

• 1 gallon apple cider
• 1 gallon apple juice
• 3 cups white sugar
• 8 cinnamon sticks
• 1 liter bottle of 190 proof grain alcohol (everclear)

Step 1

Add apple cider, apple juice and sugar to large pot, bring to a boil. Make sure sugar completely dissolves.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Add in grain alcohol, stir.
Place cinnamon sticks in sterile mason jars.
Pour mixture into jars and add lid.
Let sit for a week or two- this only gets better the longer it sits.

Serves: 9 quarts
