Ingredients

  • 3 lb pork spareribs
  • 10 cup water
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup dark soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbs dry sherry

Preparation

Step 1

Cut spareribs into serving size pieces. Place in pressure cooker with enough water to cover them, making sure the water does not go above the recommended level for the cooker. Cover the pressure cooker and bring to full pressure. Reduce pressure and cook for 15 mins. Release pressure and remove ribs to cool slightly. Combine the remaining ingredients in a large plastic bag. Add ribs and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 12-24 hours. Brown the ribs over low heat on the grill.
