PEACH COBBLER
Got this from Mavis Boehmer... loved it so much - made it twice in one weekend !

Ingredients
- FRUIT:
- 3 1/2 cups sliced peaches (or 1 - 28 oz can)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- BATTER:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup milk (at room temperature)
- 1 egg (at room temperature)

Preparation
Step 1
PAN:
Melt 1/2 cup melted butter and pour into bottom of 9 x 13 pan
Fruit:
Mix all ingredients
Cake:
Mix together. Pour into pan on top of butter.
Drop fruit into cake batter. Do not mix.
Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes
Serve warm with ice cream
