Ingredients
- 4 slices toasted bread (or 8 small slices)
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon capers, chopped
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme (optional; dill can also be used)
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 oz. smoked salmon

Step 1
Mix together softened cream cheese, capers, onion, herbs, and salt and pepper.
Spread on toasted bread and top with smoked salmon.
