  • 2 T maple syrup
  • 2 T apple cider vinegar
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 t liquid smoke
  • 4 portabellos, sliced
  • Base:
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Sauce:
  • 1 c cashews, soaked
  • 1 c soy milk
  • 1/4 c nutritional yeast
  • 1 c silken tofu
  • Pasta:
  • 4 servings spaghetti, cooked, preferably whole wheat
  • peas
  • optional - vegan "bacon" or "prosciutto"
