Ingredients
- 1-9 inch deep dish pie shell
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 \3 c chopped green chopped
- 1 \3 c red bell pepper chopped
- 2 tbsb. butter
- 4 oz smoked ham, chopped & divided
- 1 1\2 c Colby jack or cheddar cheese
- 1 c heavy cream
- 6 lg. eggs
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 \2 tsp. onion powder
- \/4 tsp. ground mustard

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees, prick bottom of pie shell with a fork, bake for 5 minutes, set aside
In a small skillet melt the butter, cook sliced green onions, red & green peppers until softened, about 2-3 minutes
Layer 1\2 ham & 1\2 shredded cheese on bottom of pie shell
Whisk together the heavy cream, eggs & seasonings until fully combined, add the cooked vegetables to the custard
Pour 1\3 over the first half layer of ham & cheese then repeat ham & cheese & custard
Place onto a baking sheet & place in oven, bake for 10 minutes
Lower thenoven temp. to 350 degrees & continue to cook for an additional 30-40 minutes
Rest on cooling rack for at least 30 minutes
