Chocolate Cheesecake Bars with Vanilla Swirl 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • FOR CRUST:
  • 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
  • 3 TBSP butter, melted
  • FOR BARS:
  • 4- 8 oz packages, cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 oz semi sweet, baking chocolate

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
FOR CRUST:
In a bowl, mix together cookie crumbs and melted butter until fully mixed.
Press evenly on the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
Bake for 10 minutes, then, remove from oven and set aside.

FOR BARS:
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until combined.
Add in yogurt, then, eggs Beat until mixture is fully blended.
Remove 1 cup of batter and set aside.
In microwave or in saucepan, melt baking chocolate until smooth.
Stir melted chocolate into the remaining vanilla batter. Making sure no vanilla batter remains.
Pour chocolate batter evenly on top of cookie crust.
With reserved 1 cup of vanilla batter, spoon mixture on top of chocolate batter randomly over the top.
Then swirl vanilla batter with a knife.
Bake for 35-40 of until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let bars cool to room temperature.
Then, refrigerate bars for at least 3 hours before serving.
