Ingredients

  • 1 lb.ground meat (beef, pork and veal combination)
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 2 tsp. grated Locatelli or Romano cheese
  • 2 gloves garlic chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbls. fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbls. fresh basil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Italian roll or Italian bread soaked in milk and squeezed tightly
  • olive oil
  • 3-4 hot Italian or Jalapeno Peppers cut and cored

Step 1

Mix all ingredients well together except Italian pepper. If to moist, add handful of breadcrumbs. Shape into golf ball size meat balls. Heat oil and saute with Italian peppers.
