Ingredients
- 16 oz Italian sausage
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 \2 lg. onion, minced
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 28 oz low-sodium
- 3 cups water
- 5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 4 c chopped kale
- 1 c heavy whipping cream
- Parm cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Brown sausage
Remove sausage with slotted spoon and set aside
Cut bacon into small pieces
Add bacon to pot & cook until crispy
Stir in chopped onion, cook for 5-6 minutes
Stir in minced garlic & cook 1 minute, stirring frequently
Add chicken broth & water to pot
Add thinly sliced potatoes & cooked sausage to pot & bring to a simmer over medium heat
Continue cooking until potatoes are tender about 10 minutes
Add kale to soup & simmer for additional 5-10 minutes
Stir in heavy cream and let heat through
