Ingredients
- 1 C. cornmeal
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 C sifted flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 c milk
- 1/2 c melted shortening
- 1 can green diced Chile
- 1 can of cream corn
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 lb shredded longhorn cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Combine dry ingredients, then add egg, milk, shortening, cottage cheese and corn.
Pour 1/2 batter into a well greased square pan. Then add layer of shredded cheese, and diced chiles. Pour remaining batter on top.
Bake at 425 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until done.
