- 1 lb box light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 8 oz bag toffee bits
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tsp vanilla

Step 1
Heat oven to 350. Spray 13x9 inch pan with cooking spray. In 3 quart saucepan, cook brown sugar and butter over medium heat, stirring frequently, until butter is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to brown sugar mixture, stirring well. Stir in toffee bits, pecans and vanilla. Pour batter into pan.
Bake 30-32 minutes or until almost set. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack, about 2 hours. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.
