Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen hash brown potatoes (1kg)
  • 2 cups fully cooked ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2-3 green onion stalks, diced
  • 2-3 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soupd, undiluted
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup italian bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine potatoes, ham, ½ cup cheese, green onion, and celery.

In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, soups, garlic powder and pepper.

Add wet mixture to potato mixture and mix well.

Transfer to a greased 9x13 (or two 8x8) baking dish. Sprinkle with italian bread crumbs and remaining cheese.

Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees F for one hour until bubbly and potatoes are tender. Let stand 10 approx 10 min before serving.
