Basic White Bread

When I make bread in the bread machine I use the dough setting once done I remove the dough from the machine, kneed a bit, place in a bread pan cover with a cloth, let rise in a draft free place (microwave is a great place), for an hour then bake in oven 30 minutes at 350F

- 1 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Skim Milk Powder
- 2 tbsp.Shortening
- 2 tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 2 2/3 cups White Flour
- 1 tsp Yeast
- Large
- 1 1/4 cups Water
- 1 tbsp. Skim Milk Powder
- 2 tbsp. Shortening
- 2 tbsp. Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 3 1/4 cups White Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. Yeast
- Extra Large
- 2 3/3 cups Water
- 2 tbsp. Skim Milk Powder
- 2 tbsp. Shortening
- 2 tbsp. Sugar
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 4 1/3 cup White Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. Yeast

Preparation
Step 1
Measure ingredients into baking pan. Insert baking pan securely into unit, close lid.
Select appropriate bread setting.
Push start button.
The breadmaker will beep 3 times and the display will flash "0:00" when bread is done.
Using oven mitts, remove pan from unit. Remove bread from baking pan (and kneading blade from bread if required).
