  • TOPPING:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 ounce unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla cups flour
  • extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 41/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 4-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 package semisweet chocolate
  • 1 package milk chocolate chips
  • 1 jar 7 ounce marshmallow creme
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • 2 cups walnut

Step 1

In a heavy saucepan, melt butter and chocolate; stir until smooth. Remve from heat; blend in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to chocolate mixture. Stir in walnuts. Pour into greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until top springs. Cool cool on wire rack.

Combine sugar, milk, butter in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Stir in chocolate and marshmallow creme and vanilla until smooth. Stir in walnuts. Spread over warm brownies. Freeze for 3 hours or until firm. Cut into bars and store in refrigerator.
