Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecan halves, toasted

Step 1
In 2 quart saucepan combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, egg and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil, 6 to 8 minutes. Just before serving stir in pecans. Serve warm or cool. Store refrigerated.
